What changed in 2025 and 2026
- AllBright's Mayfair club is closed. The company went into administration a second time in January 2025. Members were moved to a shared lounge in Farringdon, and the brand now operates as AllBright everywoman, a learning and corporate membership platform with no venue listed on its site.
- Chief London closed in March 2024, less than a year after opening. Chief now lists US clubhouses only.
- The Stack World is now part of CLIQ.
- New: LERÉI, a women-only wellness club in Knightsbridge, and Minerva Arts Club, a roving women's arts club launched in 2025.
- Prices moved. The Merit Club is now £7 a month, not £20. The University Women's Club joining fee is £450.
If a list you are reading still shows AllBright on Maddox Street, it was written before 2025.
Women-only clubs with a clubhouse
After the closures, London has exactly one long-established women's club with its own building, and one new wellness club.
University Women's Club
London's longest-established women's members club. 22 bedrooms, dining room, library, garden and reciprocal clubs in the UK, Ireland, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada and the US. No degree required. Joining fee £450. Town membership £929 a year, country £777, overseas £578, under 30 from 60% of the full rate. Membership page
LERÉI London
A wellness-led women's club with Lagree and aerial studios, hydrothermal and lymphatic treatments and longevity profiling. Membership is capped. Joining fee £2,000 on acceptance; annual tiers not published. The site still says opening soon. lerei.com
AllBright everywoman
The Mayfair clubhouse closed in early 2025. The brand merged with everywoman and now sells online learning (Ascende, launched March 2026), programmes and corporate memberships. No prices and no venue on the site. allbrighteverywoman.com
Women's clubs without a fixed venue
These run events in borrowed rooms across London. No lease means they survive; it also means you should check the calendar before you pay.

Closed
Worth knowing, because they still appear in search results and older articles.
- AllBright Mayfair, closed early 2025 (brand continues online).
- Chief London, opened 2023, closed March 2024.
- The Wing London, opened autumn 2019, closed about ten months later; the company closed in 2022.
- Grace Belgravia, women's wellbeing club, 2012 to 2019.
- Marguerite, closed.
- Blooming Founders, the website is now an empty placeholder.

Where the gaps are
Reading the whole directory at once, four things stand out.
- A hole in the price ladder. Below £600 a year the options are online or referral breakfasts. Above £1,100 you get the Sorority, Home House or a £2,000 joining fee. Almost nothing offers regular in-person women's business community in between, with a home venue.
- Women-only clubhouses keep failing. The Wing, Grace, Chief, AllBright and Marguerite have all gone. What survives either owns its building (University Women's Club) or has no lease at all. The model that works is venues borrowed, not venues leased.
- Senior women have nowhere left. With Chief and AllBright gone, there is nothing between a referral breakfast and a corporate learning platform for founders past the early stage and directors who already run teams.
- International women are not served. Apart from overseas rates at two clubs, no London network is built for women who moved here, or who split their work between London and another European capital.
Those gaps are the reason Imperfect CEO runs the way it does: small dinners and evenings in London, Warsaw and other European cities, for founders and senior leaders, with no annual fee and no lease. You pay for the evening you attend. If you want the research behind that design, read why women network differently.
How to choose
- Want a desk and a bar? A mixed club (Home House, Maslow's, 12 Hay Hill) or the University Women's Club.
- Want referrals for a service business? WIBN or Athena. Visit first; both let you.
- Want senior peers and sponsors? The Sorority if you pass the application, or a curated community like ours where the room is small and the people run companies.
- Want to try before paying anything? Lean In Circles, Trouble Club events as a guest, or any Imperfect CEO evening.
Our shorter guide, how to choose a women's club in London, has the questions to ask before you join anything. For meeting venues rather than clubs, see the best places for business meetings in London.
