Big conferences are full of people and short on real conversations. Before the first session, have a coffee with a woman who is going too, or who lives in the city. Any professional woman can join.

Two ways to meet before day one

Circle

Before the conference circle

We open one circle per conference at a café near the venue, the evening before or on the first morning. From 2 to 6 women, no host and no programme. By email you get each woman's first name, role, topic and phone number, so you can find each other.

1:1

1:1 coffee during conference week

Join a woman who is already waiting, or open your own coffee in the conference city on any day that week. It appears on the page straight away and other women can join you.

How it works

  1. Pick the circle or a 1:1 coffee for your conference.
  2. Fill in a short profile: your role, a topic, your languages.
  3. Pay for your seat. The price depends on the city, for example 5 EUR with the newsletter. Each woman pays her own bill at the café.
  4. You get an email with who you are meeting and the café address.

Questions

Do I need a conference ticket?

No. The coffees happen outside the conference, at a café nearby. Women who live in the city and are not going are welcome too.

What if nobody else signs up?

The circle goes ahead from 2 women. If nobody joins your circle or coffee by the day before, we offer you another time or a refund.

Can I open a coffee near a conference myself?

Yes. Open your own coffee on the CoffeeConnect page in the conference city. Other women see it straight away.

Is anyone selling anything?

No. There is one rule: nobody sells anything. You meet to get to know each other.
